Ronald W. Steele has directed field operations since founding the business in 1968, as well as assuming responsibility for all firm operations after the retirement of his partner in 1993. With over 45 years in the design and construction of excavation support systems, facade preservation and structural modifications shoring systems, he provides our clients with unmatched knowledge and experience.
He is a registered Professional Engineer in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Mr. Steele was graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in 1960.
Mr. Steele has been married for over 48 years and has four successful adult children and eight wonderful grandchildren.
J. Andrew Steele
President
Since joining the firm in 1991, J. Andrew Steele has worked on the engineering and construction of nearly 1,000 sheeting, shoring, and underpinning projects. Prior to joining the firm, he performed the structural design of commercial buildings for the engineering firm, James Madison Cutts, for four years. He also worked for one year for the firm Delon Hampton & Associates performing structural design of bridges.
Mr. Steele is a past director of ADSC: The International Association of Foundation Drilling, past chairman of its scholarship committee and past co-chairman of its Geo-Support Committee. He is also active in the Mid-Atlantic chapter of ADSC.
He is a registered Professional Engineer in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Mr. Steele was graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in 1986.
Mr. Steele has been married for 22 years and has three near-perfect children.
