Howard University Residential Building Phase 1
The Project
This university residence building project included an 8-story mixed-use complex, featuring below-grade parking, located right next to the Shaw/Howard University WMATA station and tracks, positioned 5-to-10 feet away to the east. Bordered by streets to the north and south, with a school and townhomes across a narrow alley to the west, the project faced various structural, geotechnical, and logistical challenges.
